MOTORSPORT students at Bridgwater College have completed a year-long project to convert a motorcycle to a three-wheel race car.

Students worked alongside staff to turn a Yamaha R1 sports motorcycle into a trike, to be displayed at Exeter Kit Car Show at the end of October.

Tutor Simon Burt said: “This was an incredible opportunity for the students to use their skills and gain the experiences they will need within an exciting motorsport career.

“I was impressed by the level of commitment shown throughout the build.”
