A camper van accidentally caught fire in Monmouth Farm Close in Pawlett, Bridgwater yesterday afternoon at 1.02pm.
Two fire engines from Bridgwater and Burnham rushed to the incident.
On arrival, crews confirmed that the camper van was well alight in front of a domestic garage.
Crews put the blaze out using two breathing apparatus wearers, one hose reel jet and one safety jet.
They also removed and cooled one gas cylinder from the fire and a thermal imaging camera was used.
The camper van was left in a severe state after the fire and the garage was also affected by the heat.
