FIRE crews from both Bridgwater and Burnham-on-Sea rushed to reports of a horse box lorry on fire.
The incident occurred at Sedgemoor Services on the M5 Southbound on April 17 at 7:01pm and at the time of the call, the horses were being taken out of the box.
On arrival, the crews confirmed all horses were removed from the vehicle and there was a small fire in between the inside and outside skin of the horse box.
Crews removed the inside skin and extinguished the fire using a hose reel jet.
The water carrier was returned and not required.
