FIREFIGHTERS were called out to tackle a car fire on Spaxton Road in Bridgwater this morning (Saturday, February 25).
Crews were called out shortly before 10am and found the vehicle well alight on arrival.
They managed to extinguish the blaze using two breathing apparatus and a hosereel jet but the car was 90 per cent damaged by the fire.
A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue said the cause of the fire was believed to have been accidental.
