A BRIDGWATER car fire saw crews rushed out after reports of flames in the engine compartment.
One fire engine from Bridgwater was sent to the scene in Devonshire Street at around 10.30am this morning (March 26).
Upon arrival crews confirmed the vehicle to be alight. Crews got to work with two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and one covering jet.
The fire was located within the engine compartment, which was 100 per cent damaged by fire.
There was 25 per cent damage to rest of car. The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
