A FIRE crew from Bridgwater was called out to a car fire on Sunday evening.
The fire was reported at Puriton Hill, Puriton, at around 6.45pm.
"Once the crew arrived the officer in charge confirmed smoke was issuing from the vehicle," said a Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson.
"The fire was extinguished using one hose reel jet and two breathing apparatus.
"The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental and duty of care was left with the owner of the vehicle."
