FIRE crews from Burnham-on-Sea and Bridgwater were called to a car fire on the motorway this morning (Sunday).
A call was put in to the fire and rescue service about the incident on the slip road to Junction 23 of the M5 shortly before 9.30am.
Firefighters used two breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire that caused 80 per cent damage to the vehicle.
