A CAR was severely damaged after an accidental fire in Bridgwater.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were called at 9.44am on Saturday (July 18) to reports of a car fire in Chilton Street.
One fire engine from Bridgwater went to the scene.
"Crews put the fire out using two breathing apparatus sets, one hose reel jet, and a thermal imaging camera," a fire service spokesperson said.
"The cause of the fire was confirmed as accidental ignition, and the vehicle sustained severe damage to the engine bay."
