SOUTHWEST electro-pop favourites Rosie and the Goldbug are appearing at Bar 27 on Friday, April 25 and promise a fusion of thumping basslines and a high-octane performance.
Hailing from Cornwall, singer Rosie Vanier and her Goldbugs rip through haunting piano-based ballads with confidence and efficiency, wowing crowds with their unconventional fashion sense and Vanier's dramatic vocal range.
Rosie and the Goldbug are a combination of the femme fatal attitude of Goldfrapp, the stage prowess of Susie Sioux and the musicianship of PJ Harvey, treating listeners to an eclectic mix of synthesised delight.
The Goldbugs are touring heavily throughout April and make sure you do not miss their appearance here in Bridgwater.
