BRIDGWATER'S would-be MP will next week be joining thousands of other Liberal Democrats at the party conference in Brighton.
Parliamentary hopeful Theo Butt Philip is the party's choice to try to wrest control of the Bridgwater seat from Conservative Ian Liddell-Grainger at the next General Election.
And from Monday he will be rubbing shoulders with party colleagues from around the UK in a range of debates at meetings at the annual conference.
He said: "The theme of our conference is the environment, so I am glad that on the eve of our conference the Liberal Democrats have been identified as the greenest of the three main political parties in an audit by Britain's environmental groups."
