A PARTY of 40 Members from Bridgwater Cricket Club will be taking part in an eight team T20 tournament at the La Manga Sports Resort on Spain's Costa Calida this month.
The group includes 15 players and will be led by club coach Piers McBride and club captain Alex Eckland will head to Spain from March 21st to March 25th.
It follows on from the Club's successful 2023 tournament at the same venue, when, after winning 4 of their 5 matches, they somehow failed to make the Final on net run rate.
In their group, they have T20 matches v Swansea CC, Dusseldorf CC and Dhrull CC, to be played on Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd March.
A top two finish will see them into the Semi Finals on the morning of Sunday 24th March, with the winners playing off in the afternoon Final.
After a sterling effort last year, Club members Mike Coles and James Salt have put in even more hard work to, hopefully, ensure another successful weekend, which will lead in nicely to the Club's pre - season programme of training and matches.
