Somerset secured the local bragging rights and more importantly a home quarter-final after winning a nail-biting Vitality Blast clash against Gloucestershire at the Cooper Associates County Ground.

In front of a sold out crowd in glorious sunshine, Will Smeed once again proved to be the scourge of Somerset’s nearest neighbours.

The jubilant reaction of the Somerset players and supporters showed just how close the visitors came to ruining the party.

Match-winner Will Smeed said: "It’s exciting to look forward to a home quarter-final because we know the support is so special here."

The match will take place on either Thursday July 6th or Friday July 7th.

This will be confirmed following the conclusion of the group stage of the competition on Sunday July 2nd.

Fans looking to go along to the Quarter Final can purchase their tickets on July 4. However members have varying levels of early access to the tickets.
