THE Bridgwater Ladies’ Darts League completed their season with the singles and pairs finals at the Blake Arms – and it was a good night for the Squib A’s Christine Blackmore.
She took the singles title by beating Kings Head’s Ann Butler in the final and then Blackmore and partner Kay Bisset claimed the pairs knock-out cup after defeating Sandy Smith and Lyn Hart of the Lions Club in the final.
In the earlier rounds of the pairs, Squib’s Jan Nunn hit a 171 shot.
Norfolk ’n’ Chance player Sharon Webb took the Division One singles title, hitting a 100 away shot and a 180 on her way to beating Marianne Bisset in the final. Bisset hit a 120 away.
Jayne Watts claimed the Division Two crown as her opponent Mary Bradfield was unable to play.
Blake Arms’ Sally Taylor beat Railway’s Hayley Denman to take the Division Three title.
