DARTS world champions Martin "Wolfie" Adams and Trina Gulliver are coming to Bridgwater Canalside Centre at Huntworth in June.
They will be taking on the cream of local players at the centre, formerly Hinkley Point Sports & Social Club, on Friday, June 16. Both will be competing in the English Open at Pontins, Brean over the same weekend.
Adams, the England captain, won the Lakeside World Professional Championship for the first time last month, since when he has been much in demand. His agent, Somerset-based Dave Williams of Double Top Promotions, said: "It's a real coup for Bridgwater that he's going there."
Trina Gulliver has won the women's world championship for the last seven years.
The players to take on the world champions will be chosen by a qualifying competition at the Squib, in Bridgwater. It will involve local players, as well as some from Taunton and Weston.
Tickets for the Canalside event will be available in the near future.
