IT WAS a good first week in the Bridgwater Ladies’ Darts League for Squib-based teams as they all had big victories in Division One.
The Fockers were the most convincing, beating Pawlett Pavilion 12-3. Norfolk‘n’Chance defeated Lions Club 11-4 and Squib A were 10-5 winners against Black Horse, despite a Rachel Lucey 114 away. George Hotel opened with a win, beating King’s Head 9-6.
No Hope‘n’Hell and Volunteer Arms both had 9-3 wins in Division Two, over Bird B and Crown A respectively. Hope’s Mary Bradfield had a 114 away and Voly’s Sandra Palmer a 102 start. Lime Kiln beat Coblestones 8-4.
The 9-3 defeat of Knowle put Blake Arms top of Division Three. There were 8-4 wins for: Fountain Inn against Railway Club; Three Lions against Malty Maniacs; and White Hart against River Parrett B, with Jo Watson having a 113 away for Hart.
