INTERNATIONALLY acclaimed Indian dance choreographer Liz Lea is performing The Blue Tour at Bridgwater Arts Centre on Saturday (October 14).
The Blue Tour was taken across the globe in 2005 and cemented Lea's reputation as one of the most innovative choreographers of her generation.
In 2004 she was one of the inaugural Place Prize commissioned choreographers and has also created works for Mavin Khoo and Intoto Dance Companies, Ballet Arabesque, Bulgaria and Western Sydney Dance Action.
She is currently working on the Accented Body project in Australia, a multimedia Austral-Asian collaboration opening the 2006 Brisbane Festival.
And as part of her visit to Bridgwater, Take Art Dance have arranged for Lea to work with dance students at East Bridgwater College and Bridgwater College.
Tickets are £10, concessions £9 and members £8 members, available from the box office on 01278-422700.
