GLASSFORD Alexander Macgregor (Alex) former mayor of Bridgwater and formerly of Glasgow, passed away peacefully at Musgrove Park Hospital, on the 19th September 2023. Aged 71 years. Alex will be sadly and greatly missed by all of his loving family and friends. A funeral service will be held at Sedgemoor Crematorium on Thursday 5th October 2023 at 2:00pm. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Alex for Musgrove Leukaemic Group may be left at the crematorium or forwarded to: Bridgwater Funeral Services, 15 Bristol Road, Bridgwater, Somerset, TA6 4AU. It was a privilege to serve on Sedgemoor District Council and the Development Committee with Alex. A courteous and conscientious Councillor, he always spoke with wisdom and authority. RIP
