FIREFIGHTERS from Burnham on Sea and Bridgwater attended a horse box lorry fire this weekend.
The fire happened at the southbound Sedgemoor Services shortly after 7pm on Sunday.
A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue said: "The horses were being removed at the time of the call.
"On arrival crews confirmed all horses removed from vehicle, there was a small fire in between the inside and outside skin of the vehicle.
"Crews removed the inside skin and extinguished the fire using a hose reel jet."
