Fire crews called to blaze at Morrisons distribution centre
FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a forklift truck on fire inside Morrison distribution centre, in Bridgwater, earlier this evening.
The fire service received multiple calls to the incident in Kings Road shortly after 5pm.
Three fire engines and an aerial ladder platform and environmental protection unit were sent to the scene.
Crews quickly had the fire under control and then remained on the scene to help ventilate the smoke that had accumulated.
The forklift was 80 per cent damaged by fire and smoke.
There were no casualties.
