ST Peter’s Church in North Newton was awash with colour and wonderful scents for the village’s popular annual flower festival.
The North Newton Flower Show attracted some stunning entries and plenty of visitors heading in to look around at the various exhibits.
There were flowers, vegetables, arts and crafts, children’s classes as well as some delicious homemade cakes and refreshments on offer.
Judges Pauline Warren, Nigel Cox and Judie Brown were given the tricky task of picking the winners from the impressive exhibits on show.
Organiser Gordon Fraser said: “It went extremely well . The event was well attended, the judges were impressed with the standard of entries and there was a really good spirit of friendship and community.
“Congratulations to Mark Barham who won a number of top prizes, and thank you to all those who took part and supported.”
