A WEST Monkton Brownie has raised money for the Love Musgrove coronavirus appeal by making and selling 200 keyrings during lockdown.
Gracie Lock, who turned 10 this week, decided she wanted to raise money for charity during the pandemic, and set about creating her colourful keyrings in three designs.
Gracie let people know about the project via Facebook and even set up a stall outside the family home in Monkton Heathfield to sell the keyrings.
The keyrings all feature a rainbow for the NHS and proved hugely popular - Gracie sold all 200 and made £335.
Gracie's mum Donna Lock said: "I am really, really proud of her.
"She came up with the idea herself and has put a lot of hard work into it."
There has been a lot of fundraising in the family with Noah, aged 13, having his head shaved during lockdown and raised a further £270 for the appeal, while Donna's partner Emma Milton also had her head shaved and raised £240 for Ronald McDonald House in Bristol, which supports families of critically ill children.
