A GROUP of friends who all suffer from Crohns or Ulcerative Colitis took part in a 10km walk last month to raise funds for charity.
Charlotte, Toni, Alice and Mike took on the challenge on October 25 with support from their family and friends.
The team of four raised £1,085 for Crohns and Colitis UK - a charity which is dedicated to helping people with Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, and other forms of inflammatory bowel disease to live a better quality of life and ultimately find a cure.
"The four of us all have our own individual stories and battles with Crohns or Ulcerative Colitis and felt there was no better time than now to support this charity who have had many fundraising events cancelled this year due to COVID-19," Charlotte said.
"I am so proud that we have been able to come together as a group and raise a fantastic £1085 from our recent charity walk!
"We are hugely grateful for the donations we received, plus the amazing support from our friends and family to raise awareness of this invisible illness."
