A TRACTOR was damaged after catching fire in a Somerset village last night.
The vehicle caught light and firefighters were called to Wedmore at around 7.30pm on Monday evening (December 28).
Crews from Cheddar, Glastonbury and Bridgwater attended the scene.
"Crews confirmed the tractor to be well alight and got to work extinguishing the fire using one hose reel jet and an attack jet," said a Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson.
"They also used a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots."
The cause of the fire is believed to have been accidental.
