A MAIN road in Bridgwater will be closed from 6.30pm until 11.30pm on February.
Somerset County Council (SCC) is set to repair Cornhill as the road surface has cracks and potholes.
The work to resurface the road is set to take place during one evening in order to minimise disruption.
“The upcoming resurfacing of Cornhill is a vitally important scheme," said Cllr John Woodman, SCC's cabinet member for Highways.
“We’ve planned for the work to go ahead in the evening to keep disruption and disturbance to a minimum, and we’ll do everything we can to complete the works as quickly as possible.”
SCC have said access to homes and businesses will be maintained.

SCC looks after more than 4,170 miles of road and in 2019/20 invested £26.1m to keep the county moving, including filling 18,519 potholes, and delivering 385 highway maintenance schemes ranging from drainage works to carriageway and footway resurfacing.
