A BRIDGWATER teenager is one of three family members setting up a dessert business.
If you love your puds, then there's a new business opening in Taunton this weekend that will appeal to you.
And with Valentine's Day on Sunday, how about celebrating with a sweet dessert with your loved one?
Heavenly Dessertz will be based in Silver Street and is a real family affair.
Connor Thain, his cousin Chantelle Lake, both 18, along with Connor's dad, Ken Thain, 67, are opening for business on Saturday.
They'll be offering all sorts of goodies, ranging from waffles to ice creams, and milk shakes to sauces.
Connor, who was born in Taunton, but moved north as a child, is delighted to be heading home.
Connor Thain
He said: "We part own a dessert business in Barrow-in-Furness.
"Up there, virtually every other shop sells desserts, but there's nothing like that in Taunton.
"We thought it would be a great idea to bring it to Taunton, where there's a real gap in the market."
The Silver Street premises is currently being remodelled in time for the launch.
"We all enjoy cooking and are busy getting ready for the opening in time for Valentine's Day," added Connor.
"We're targetting anyone with a sweet tooth and will be open six days a week."
Initially, Heavenly Dessertz will offer deliveries and collection to comply with the lockdown rules.
Once the restriction are lifted, the shop will open for anyone who enjoys a good dessert.
