CREWS tackled a straw chopper on fire in Holford this morning (March 3).
One fire engine from Nether Stowey and one from Williton, as well as a water carrier from Bridgwater, attended the incident at around 9am.
"On arrival crews confirmed this chopper was well alight and extinguished the fire using drag forks and a hose reel jet," said a spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service.
"There was 30 per cent damage to the chopper and the cause was accidental."
