A DUMPER truck was set on fire in what is believed to have been an arson attack late last night (Wednesday).
Firefighters in two fire engines and a water carrier attended the blaze in Grange Drive, Bridgwater, shortly after 11.30pm.
A member of the public had called in the incident close to a property in the street.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "On arrival, the Incident Commander confirmed that a small dumper truck close to the property was well alight and got crews to work to extinguish the fire using breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet and small tools.
"The fire was thought to have been started deliberately and police have been informed."
