TWO SEDGEMOOR district council (SDC) employees are set to run 50 miles for charity this month.
Natalie Smith, 16 and her brother Alex Smith will be taking on the challenge to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK.
But they are no strangers to running - as a family, they have raised money for Teenage Cancer Trust, Race for Life, British Legion Poppy Appeal and they ran in memory of PC Harper.
“I’m up for the challenge this month, and knowing it is raising monies for a good cause will keep me motivated,” said Natalie.
“As a family we run regularly but this is the first challenge I have taken on myself following the set back of a stress fracture injury.”
Natalie works as a graphic design apprentice for SDC and Alex is a major projects officer.
