Bridgwater Docks
THE body of a man was recovered from Bridgwater Docks yesterday evening (Monday, April 26).
Police are making enquiries to identify the dead man.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: "Police were called just before 5.30pm on Monday 26 April to a report of a body at Bridgwater Docks.
"The specialist dive team attended and sadly the body of a man was recovered from the water.
"Door-to-door and other enquiries are underway to identify the deceased and establish the circumstances of the death, which is not believed to be suspicious."
