A 10-YEAR-OLD from West Monkton has donated 12 inches of her hair to help children with cancer.
Gracie Lock, who attends West Monkton CEVC Primary School, grew her hair in preparation for the cut.
She then donated it to the Little Princess Trust.
The charity provide wigs, for free, to children and young people who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment.
Gracie said: “I would love to cut my long hair off and donate it to the little princess trust to help all the children that are poorly to be able to have hair again.
"I would love to make someone happy and make a difference to their life.”
But this is not Gracie's first donation to charity during the pandemic.
Last year Gracie raised £335 for Love Musgrove by making and selling keyrings.

Donna Lock, Gracie's mum, said: "I am one very proud mum and want people in the community to see what an incredible young lady she is.
"She is so kind and thoughtful to others."
