A DISQUALIFIED motorist caught behind the wheel has handed a one-day driving ban.
Stuart James Cuthbertson, 37, of Warren Bay Holiday Village, Watchet, was stopped nearby in North Street, Williton, on February 3.
He pleaded guilty to the offence at Taunton Magistrates' Court and was given an absolute discharge.
He also received an absolute discharge after admitting driving without insurance.
ANOTHER banned driver was caught speeding on the M5 between Junctions 23 and 24 on August 16 last year.
David Tonks, 37, of Higher Auderly Avenue, Torquay, was banned for six months, fined £380 and ordered to pay a £38 victim surcharge and £85 costs for the speeding offence.
He received no separate penalty for driving while disqualified and for driving without insurance.
Tonks pleaded guilty to all three offences.
MARCOS Roberto Cavalaro, 45, of Virginia Orchard, Ruishton, admitted driving at 73mph in a 60mph zone on the A303 on May 29 last year.
He was fined £115 with a £34 victim surcharge and £85 costs and received three points on his licence.
