FIRE crews rescued two people trapped inside this vehicle after it ended up on its side.
No other vehicles were involved in the road traffic collision in the early hours of yesterday (Friday, May 28).
Fire engines from Street and Somerton, along with the heavy rescue vehicle from Glastonbury were mobilised to the incident in Somerton Road, Compton Dundon, at 3.21am.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "On arrival at the incident crews confirmed a single vehicle road traffic collision with the car on its side with two occupants physically trapped.
"Crews set to work stabilising the vehicle and setting up equipment to release the casualties.
"One 48-year-old female and one 18-year-old male were released from the vehicle by fire crews using hydraulic cutting equipment and small tools.
"Casualties were left in the care of the ambulance service with no obvious injuries."
