A ROAR of jet engines filled the Somerset skies yesterday (Sunday, June 6) as some very special travellers passed through.
Jets from the famous Red Arrows display team passed over the county as it made its way to the Midlands Air Festival and Shuttleworth Flypast.
So it was that at between 1.30pm and 2pm, eyes were drawn to the skies as the roar of the engines echoed around Somerset.
Speedy snapper Andy Monks, a member of the Somerset Camera Club, was quick on the draw with his camera to capture the team.
