RESIDENTS in Sedgemoor enjoyed a free music festival on Sunday (June 6).
Seed - an Arts Council-funded initiative designed to get more people involved in the arts and cultural activity - invited residents to join in the fun around Sedgemoor for the inaugural Front Garden Music Festival.
Around 20 acts performed in their front gardens, and at venues including The Cobblestones Pub in Bridgwater, St John The Evangelist Church and the Coopers Arms in Highbridge, and the Crown at Catcott.
Seed director Scott O’Hara said: “Although life is becoming a little more normal across the UK, opportunities to celebrate and enjoy the summer remain few and far between, and paying gigs for local artists are even rarer."
PERFORMANCE: The Little Big Horns
The event started at 11am, with the Little Big Horns playing outside The Engine Room in Bridgwater.
They walked down the high street to Cornhill, then down Fore Street to the Eastover Bridge.
The event was live-streamed across Seed's social media channels.
