TWO people were taken to hospital following a road traffic collision yesterday evening (Thursday).
Fire crews from Street and Bridgwater were sent to the two-vehicle crash on the A39 Bath Road at Loxley Wood, Moorlinch, shortly after 8.30pm.
The heavy rescue tender from Glastonbury was also sent to the scene.
Hydraulic rescue equipment and small tools were used to release two casualties from the vehicles.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "The casualties were transported to hospital via land ambulance. Police were also on scene."
