A WOMAN had to be freed from the wreckage of a car crash this afternoon.
The collision in St Cuthbert Out, involving two vehicles, happened at around 1.45pm today.
Firefighters from Cheddar and Wells attended the incident.
A spokesperson from Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service, said: "Crews extricated one female casualty using hydraulic rescue equipment and small tools.
"The casualty was left in the care of ambulance crews on scene."
Another female was also assessed on scene by paramedics.
