BRIDGWATER United Football Club has unveiled the final design on the new North Stand at Fairfax Park, which the club says will help launch football in Somerset into a new era.
Described as a "modern and sleek construction" the North Stand will house the football operations for the club, including changing rooms and offices, as well as areas open to the public.
A club statement added: "These community spaces will bring the stand and the football club into the heart of the Bridgwater and Sedgemoor community.
"The proposed layout includes a public cafe that will be open seven days a week, a supporters' lounge and hospitality boxes/suites.
"The boxes will double as classrooms or meeting rooms, and they will be available all year round for the use of community groups such as Carnival groups, support or education groups, with the flexibility to host both small and large events also."
The club has submitted its Planning Pre-Application to Sedgemoor District Council, and now awaits the council's feedback.
The football club has also released images of the new playing kit for the 2021/22 season, for both its men's and women's teams.
The home kit features red and black stripes with white shorts and socks, and the away kit is white with navy trim, with navy and white shorts and white socks.

On the pitch, it is less than month to the start of the Toolstation Western League, with Bridgwater competing in the ninth tier of English football but targeting promotion up the leagues under its new chief executive Adam Murry.
In preparation for the big kick-off, the Robins are hosting National League side Weymouth for a friendly match this coming Saturday (July 17, 3pm).
As well as the match itself, Fairfax Park will play host to a variety of family activities including face painting, power striker, and the opportunity to take part in activities on the pitch at half-time.
Tickets will be sold at the turnstiles, and further information can be found here.
