ROADWORKS are starting across the county today (July 19).

And we know this can cause disruption for many who are out and about this week.

So here's a list of major works set to start today:

  • Liney Road, Westonzoyland - 20 working days - temporary construction access - traffic control (priority working)
  • Capland Lane, Ashill - 11 working days - installation of service pipe - road closure
  • Old Bristol Road, Maperton - 10 working days - widen turning to A303 - road closure
  • Hartford Road, Brompton Regis - 10 working days - earthworks - road closure
  • Station Road, Wellington - four working days - resurfacing - road closure
