Fire crews sent to grain dryer fire
FIRE crews were sent to tackle a blaze in a grain dryer.
Firefighters from Taunton and Bridgwater were sent to the scene, in Cannington, at just after 5.30pm this evening (August 12).
A spokesperson for the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: "Control ... sent two fire engines, an aerial platform ladder and a water bowser to a report of a grain dryer on fire in Cannington.
"Crews are liaising with on site staff to empty the dryer and moving the burnt grain to a safe site."
