BRIDGWATER town centre was alive with music, theatre, exhibitions and activities on Saturday (August 14).
This ‘mini-fest’ was part of Bridgwater Quayside Festival’s summer season of events which take place during June, July and August.
Many groups took part including the Voices of the People Choir, Bridgwater Ukulele Strummers Group, The Little Big Horns and the Taiko Drummers.
There was also the Bridgwater Peoples Mural featuring large portraits of local people who have helped others during the pandemic.
One local artist said: “This was the first time that we have performed together for over 18 months since the beginning of the pandemic.
“This was a fabulous event with a great atmosphere and it was great to see and meet friends again and to be together.”
Organiser Sally Mann, said it was ‘a joy’ to support local groups and artists.
