FARM vehicles and equipment were destroyed by a large fire near Bridgwater.
The incident unfolded at around 5.35pm this afternoon (August 28) after a 999 call from a member of the public.
A crew from Street was sent to the location, a field near Moorlinch, where firefighters found a tractor, baler and trailer well alight.
"Crews asked for further assistance from one of Ground Hog vehicles, which are equipped for firefighting in rural areas and off-road locations," said a Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson.
The blaze was eventually brought under control using a portable pump and one main jet, they added.
"The tractor, baler and trailer were all totally destroyed by the fire and the cause was accidental," they said.
