A BALER caught fire near Minehead last night (September 1).
Firefighters from Minehead and Porlock attended the incident on a farm in Selworthy around 8.30pm.
When they arrived, the two crews discovered the fire was in the drive box of the baler.
"The fire spread to approximately 80m squared of the straw field that it was within," said a spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue.
"Crews extinguished the fire using one hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera."
