Somerset set for 'mini heatwave' next week
TEMPERATURES could hit 26C in Somerset next week as forecasters warn of a mini heatwave.
Things are set to turn warmer from Tuesday, with the Met Office saying thermometers could reach 26C.
When discussing conditions from Sunday to Tuesday, the forecaster said: "Largely dry with sunny spells on Sunday, though a few showers possible, mainly in the west.
"Dry with some sunny spells on Monday. Plenty of sunshine on Tuesday. Turning warmer."
Temperatures are also predicted to reach 26C on Wednesday.
However, the Met Office says temperatures will return to around 21C by Thursday.
