A TOASTER caught fire in a Bridgwater property yesterday afternoon (September 22).
Two fire crews from Bridgwater attended the fire in a four storey block of flats on Waverley Wharf.
Around 2pm, firefighters arrived at the scene.
The toaster was 100% damaged by fire and the kitchen was 30% damaged by heat and smoke.
"Firefighters used one hose reel, one safety jet and wore two breathing apparatus to deal with the fire," said a spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service.
"They also used a positive pressure ventilation fan to disperse smoke from the property."
