THE Bridgwater lettings team at Greenslade Taylor Hunt have been recognised for their customer service with a gold award from the British Property Awards.
The estate agent, located in High Street, won the 2021-22 award for Letting Agent in Bridgwater.
They were recognised after mystery shoppers assessed the branch's staff on 25 different criteria to rate their customer service, which included their handling of emails and phone calls.
After a lengthy judging process, the company's Bridgwater team - led by lettings manager Julie Cameron - were pleased to be recognised with the award.
"My team and I are delighted to have received the gold award," said Julie.
"We are extremely busy in Bridgwater lettings and we are desperate for all sizes and types of properties."
The branch has now been shortlisted for a number of national awards.
The British Property Awards independently assess estate agents using criteria they say can be overlooked by clients before they sign a contract with an agent.
The awards were founded by a group of former estate agent owners who believed the industry as a whole is unfairly judged by some consumers based on the shortcomings of a small number of agents.
The British Property Awards' emphasis on local recognition for estate agents was designed to help consumers make decisions and ensure they use an agent they can trust.

"If an agent has been attributed with one of our awards it is simply down to the fantastic customer service levels that they have demonstrated across a prolonged period of time.
"Winning agents should be proud that their customer service levels provide a benchmark for their local, regional and national competition."
Estate agents are judged on a town-by-town basis and, if no estate agents in a town meet their standards, no awards are handed out.
In August, Greenslade Taylor Hunt's Taunton team, based in Hammet Street, scooped the top award for estate agents in Somerset's county town.
