GOVERNMENT figures reported five Covid-19 deaths within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test between January 31 and 6 February in the Sedgemoor District.
The data was published on Sunday, February 6, and showed an increase of 66.7 per cent compared to the previous seven days.
There were no deaths within 28 days of a positive test for coronavirus reported on February 6.
105 new people had a confirmed positive test result reported on February 6 and between January 31 and February 6, 2,609 people had a confirmed positive test result.
This means an increase of 73.7 per cent compared to the previous seven days.
By the end of February 5, 100,308 people had been given a first dose 94,902 people had been given a second dose, and 76,815 had been given a booster or third dose.
