A PUBLIC drop-in session is planned at the town hall in Bridgwater where ideas will be on show for the next part of the Celebration Mile to discuss a pedestrian-friendly route.
Under the auspices of the Bridgwater Town Deal, residents and businesses have the chance to study the plan, ask questions of the staff who will be on hand to discuss and answer any queries.
All comments will be fed into the business case that will be submitted to the government in May.
The key ambition of the Celebration Mile, Angel Crescent, Clare Street, and Eastover, is to create a pedestrian-friendly route from the railway station to the docks, taking in the history of Bridgwater.
Plans will show plans for street furniture (bins, lampposts, seats), shared areas, paving, lighting, street trees, public art, and improved signage.
The consultation will take place on Tuesday, March 1 between 4pm and 7pm at Bridgwater Town Hall.
Residents who cannot attend the drop-in session can email any thoughts or comments to BridgwaterTownBoard@Sedgemoor.gov.uk
