AN attacker who assaulted three emergency workers has been jailed for more than three months.
Aleksandras Gofmanas, 34, of Sloway Lane, West Huntspill, admitted committing the attacks when he appeared at Taunton Magistrates' Court yesterday (Wednesday, March 2).
Gofmanas pleaded guilty to assaulting an on-duty PCSO in St John Street, Bridgwater, on July 18 last year while drunk and disorderly.
On the same day at the same location there was also an assault on a police constable.
And the following day Gofmanas assaulted a junior sister in Taunton.
The court heard the attacks were "prolonged" and included spitting.
Gofmanas, who was ordered to pay a total of £150 compensation, was jailed for four weeks, 12 weeks and 16 weeks, with the sentences running concurrently, meaning his overall sentence is 16 weeks.
There was no separate penalty for being drunk and disorderly.
