With the entertainment provided by the Bridgwater Carnival Clubs, local Dance Troupes, front of curtain acts, and compare Billy Bevan, an evening of entertainment, fun, and laughter was assured.
Arthur Leigh, president of Bridgwater Gangs and Features, said: “The event was free for the senior members of the community and entry also includes a free raffle and our thanks must go to those who kindly donated such generous prizes.
“Much appreciated was the support given by the Bridgwater Guy Fawkes Carnival Committee, lighting, sound, First Aid, stewards and catering teams, and organiser Wayne Anker and his team.
“Thank you to the Bridgwater Town Council for allowing us to use the town hall and the Mayor, Leigh Redman for his help and co-operation.
“To our special old folks audience, we thank you for coming to the show, take care and we will see you next year.”
