BRIDGWATER United Women's captain Leah Burridge played her last game for the club last Friday night.
The central midfielder who has played for the club for six years has left the club in a move that will take her to play for Wolverhampton Wanderers.
In her last game she went out with a bang, lifting the Somerset County Cup after leading her side to a 2-0 win in the final.
In her time at Bridgwater this season, Burridge captained her side in the famous FA Cup run, marking England international Katie Zelem in the match against Manchester United.
On social media, Burridge said: "The Bridgwater girls are a very special group of players to me and I have no doubt they will go on and continue to be the best they can be.
"My time at the club has been made by you.
"All the best for the future Bridgwater, I know you have an exciting journey ahead."
